SoftRockRadio plays a unique mix of singer/songwriter based classic soft rock along with some other classics from the 70s, 80s and a touch of the 90s.
The format is modeled after classic radio stations that existed up until the early 80s that emphasized singer-songwriter acoustic and rock based songs and artists, like those listed above. Though some pop based songs of the era are played, you won't hear Mariah Carey or Celine Dion.
Mellow Rock Soft Rock and Yacht Rock are all terms used to describe the styles of music played on SoftRockRadio.net.

While SoftRockRadio airs commercials, the revenue doesn't completely cover costs of the station's operation.
An out-of-the-box idea that would help support our broadcast, while also cleaning out listener closets and garages, is to buy and sell vinyl albums.
If you've got vinyl records that are collecting dust, send them them to us! We'll do the work of sorting through them - keeping what we can use for the station and re-selling the rest that may bring in some revenue to support SoftRockRadio.
Donations would be great, but we'll also pay a fair rate for your records. We'll pay shipping or even have them picked up!
